The rules

Real people. Loud signal. Feeds reward what people react to, and anger gets the most reactions. These rules point that machine at good things instead.

  1. Share what's good and true

Post good news, real wins and people helping people. Check it before you share it. If you can't check it, don't share it.

  2. Copy it, then make it yours

Grab a post, then put it in your own words. A real person's own voice travels further than a copy, and it's more honest too.

  3. Don't feed the trolls

    • Don't reply to them. Every reply is a boost.
    • Don't quote-post or screenshot the other side. That's free advertising.
    • Don't pile on anyone. Argue with ideas, never people.
    • Don't block or report their posts. Scroll quickly past them. The exception: a threat, doxxing or harassment of a real person. Report that, every time.

Post your own good thing instead.

  4. Help the good stuff early

Like, comment on and share posts you believe in, soon after they go up. Early engagement helps a post reach more people.

  5. Be real

    • One person, your own accounts. No fake accounts, no bots, no coordinated posting schemes.
    • If AI helped write something, say so. Posts made with AI help are labeled here.
  6. Be kind

Assume the person reading disagrees with you and can still be won over. Kindness is what makes that possible.
